About Bill Barker

I am a native Californian, born and raised on farms in rural Tustin and Orange. I attended public schools in Tustin and Orange, graduating from Tustin High School. Having my education interrupted during the Viet Nam War, I graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Math and graduate work in Business and immediately embarked on a 30 year career path with several Medical and Biotech companies, specializing in the development, marketing and sales of products used in R&D by other companies and research institutions. This career included positions in sales, sales management, marketing, sales training, business acquisitions and business development. Working in this market helped me hone my "relationship selling" skills, skills that have served me well in the Real Estate industry. I have been a Realtor® since 2003 specializing in residential sales in North Orange County and the area surrounding Diamond Bar and also partnering with Max Schoenberger in  the highly specialized field of Commercial properties and Business Opportunities. In the ever changing market of Real Estate, as the Business Opportunity and Commercial markets dwindled with the "credit crunch", I now spend the majority of my time working with both "Equity" and "Short-Sale" Residential Property sellers and buyers in the acquisitions of bank-owned and short-sale properties.
